As a kitchen fitter rather than a kitchen maker, we fit and renovate kitchens bought through our trade account, from the rip-out of the old units to the last cabinet door hung, and organise the other trades around it so the electrician, plumber and tiler are booked in at the right point. We do not make bespoke, made-from-scratch kitchen units, and we do not cut or fit worktops ourselves.

A kitchen renovation depends on the layout, what is being kept, how much rip-out is involved and which other trades need booking around it, so a figure given without seeing the room would not hold up. We visit, agree the units and the trades needed, and give a written quote before anything is booked in.

Wrong materials used to save money

A rushed rip-out that damages what is staying
Floors and units that are not being replaced get knocked about because nothing was protected first. We protect floors as standard and use dust extraction throughout.

Kitchen fitting, or kitchen installation as some customers call it, means the units come from our trade account rather than a workshop we build them in ourselves: ranges including Howdens, Magnet and Wren, fitted rather than made from scratch. The carpentry side covers everything from first fix, if walls or studwork are moving, through to second fix once the cabinets are in: doors hung, drawers set, skirting and architrave finished to match the rest of the room.
A kitchen refit that goes beyond swapping units, what we call a kitchen renovation, usually needs an electrician, a plumber and often a tiler alongside the carpentry. Because we are already on site doing most of the fitting, it makes sense for us to organise those trades around the job rather than leave a homeowner to chase three separate people. We do not organise trades on a whole-house refurbishment, but a kitchen is small enough, and close enough to the carpentry itself, for it to work.
If something is not right after we have finished, we come back and put it right. We only use materials we trust and can rely on, and we would rather not take a job on than fit something we do not believe in.

Yes. We source the kitchen through our trade account, from ranges including Howdens, Magnet and Wren, and add it to the quote so you are not going through a showroom separately. You are welcome to discuss preferences at the survey.
Do you make bespoke, made-from-scratch kitchen units?
No, we fit supplied kitchens rather than build units from scratch. If a job needs bespoke cabinetry alongside the kitchen, we can discuss that separately at the survey.
Do you fit worktops?
No, we do not cut or fit worktops ourselves.
Who organises the electrician, plumber and tiler?
We do, on a kitchen renovation. We are on site for most of the job anyway, so it makes sense for us to book the other trades in around the carpentry rather than leave you to coordinate them.
