Handrails and spindles, together with the balustrade they sit in, are the parts of a staircase you actually touch and see every day, and they are usually replaced together because they share the same fixings and the same newel posts. The work ranges from swapping a worn or wobbly handrail, to a full run of new stair spindles, to a balustrade installation that rebuilds the run from the newel up. It suits a staircase that still has a sound structure underneath but looks dated or feels unsafe to hold.

Dust extraction is used throughout, and floors are protected before work starts. The site is left tidy at the end of every day, not just at the end of the job.
What happens if something is not right afterwards?
If something is not right after the job is finished, we come back and put it right.

A wobbly handrail or a loosening balustrade is rarely a problem with the staircase itself. It is usually the newel posts or the fixings that have worked loose over years of use, which is why a handrail and spindle job on a sound staircase does not need to disturb the treads or stringers underneath.
The materials matter as much as the fitting. We only use materials we trust and can rely on, and we would rather not take a job on than fit the wrong ones. That is agreed with you at the design stage, before anything is ordered.
