Staircase renovation means working with the staircase that is already there rather than tearing it out: strengthening treads and stringers that have worked loose, replacing worn or split parts, and making handrails, spindles and balustrades sound again. It suits a staircase that creaks, feels unsafe, or simply looks tired, but where the structure underneath is worth keeping. We would rather not do a job than use the wrong materials for it, so every repair is matched to what is already there before anything is cut.
