Front and external doors in Poole
What moves the price is rarely the door itself. It is usually the state of the existing frame and opening. A door fitted into a sound, square opening is a different job from one where the frame is in poor condition, which is exactly why fitting a front door is priced after a visit rather than off a price list.
External door installation done badly shows up quickly: a door that will not lock properly, draughts around the frame, or a lock fitted slightly out of line. Getting the frame square and the door hung properly the first time is what prevents most of it.
