The job

A priced package, not a full build

A Dorset building firm running an extension needed the carpentry taken off their hands: first fix through to the timber frame itself. It was priced as a standalone job rather than folded into a day rate, so the firm knew the cost of the carpentry before it started. Materials were agreed with the firm before anything was ordered. We only use materials we trust and can rely on, and would rather not do a job at all than do it with the wrong ones, so that conversation happens before the frame goes up, not after. The frame itself went in to the same standard held on every job, large or small, and the site was left tidy at the end of each day rather than handed back as a mess for the next trade. This is the shape of work Bespoke Builds wants more of: a builder or contractor handing over the carpentry package on a job that is already theirs, first fix to the frame, rather than carrying the whole extension in-house.
