A Dorset building company asked us in to handle the roof timbers and structural first-fix carpentry on their loft conversion, working inside their own programme rather than running the job ourselves. That meant the roof structure had to go in right first time: get the framing wrong and every trade booked in behind us loses a day waiting on it. We priced the work, agreed the sequence with the building company, then got on with it, checking materials before they went in and protecting floors and access throughout. The roof timbers were fixed, signed off, and the site left tidy for the next trade to follow on.
